Find peace and wellness on the beaches of Brazil

The beaches of Brazil are a wonderful place to experience Ilchi Lee's idea of peace. They are quiet, beautiful places that allow visitors to reach the deepest parts of their soul and access those feelings.

Jericoacoara, which has one of the "8 Best Beach Sunsets Around the World," according to AOL Travel, is a wonderful stretch of soft, grey sand with gorgeous dunes. Locals reportedly call the beach "Jeri" for short.

"Bring a blanket and settle in; the unhurried pace here perfectly fits the languid changing of colors in the sky," reports the news source.

"Jericoacoara is a place removed from the hurried modern world of screeching sirens, maniac deadlines, traffic jams and endless lineups," states the city's website.

Practicing yoga poses or meditating on the warm sands as the sun begins to fall over the horizon is an amazing way to find peace and connect the body with the mind. In addition, there is plenty of space to enjoy the beach in solitude.

The best times to visit Jeri are September through May, as the summer months can get unbearably hot.

Cumbria inspires travelers in Britain

Walking through the hills of Cumbria, England, can be a great activity for personal development as the amazing landscapes often inspire travelers to embrace Earth and its mysteries, reports the UK Telegraph.

On the National Trust walk, travelers will get to see some beautiful scenery ranging from the Coniston Fells to the Low Parkamoor Farm.

"I particularly enjoy the ever-changing views along the walk," states Peter Keen, who operates the Steam Yacht Gondola on Coniston Water. "Make sure you bring a camera to capture the scenery and binoculars to view the wildlife. After the walk you also get a further chance to relax on your way back to the jetty at Coniston."

A ride on the Gondola Steam Yacht is a calm and peaceful experience as the Victorian boat gently glides over the water.

The Coniston Fells, however, are what brings most people the Cumbria. This is one of the most photographed spots in England. With its green covered mountains and beautiful sweeping valley views.

In addition to the Low Parkamoor, there's the Lawson Park Farm, which dates back to the 1300s and is quite a sight to behold.

Improving physical health can further personal growth

Ilchi Lee says that there are many ways to approach personal growth. Individuals can employ any number of strategies to improve their life and attain a more fulfilling existence. Experts increasingly say that these efforts should start with health.

Blair Moreau, of Mercy Health Partners in Michigan, told local ABC affiliate WZZM that being overweight and out of shape can limit the options of what an individual can do in life. This can have a major impact on their pursuits of personal growth.

He told the news source that individuals should first focus on improving their physical condition and then think about leaving behind the emotional baggage they may have accumulated during the years they spent overweight. He said that this can at times be as crippling as poor physical health.

Moreau said that living in the present is the single most important step a person can take to achieving personal growth through improved physical condition. This prevents individuals from dwelling on some idealized past or dreading the future, which likely isn't as bad as they think. Instead they are able to attack the moment and get the most out of it that they can.

These sentiments echo Ilchi Lee's thoughts on personal growth. He says that by living in the moment, individuals are able to change.

Kindness is critical when seeking personal growth

On the road to personal growth, interactions with others can play a large role in determining the success or failure of the pursuit. It does no good for an individual to strive to eliminate negativity from their life if they treat other people with disrespect and forget about their role as an Earth Citizen.

Rabbi Harold Kushner has written extensively about these ideas, according to the Gloucester Times. He says that forgiving others and always being kind are paramount when it comes to personal growth and should not be forgotten.

These words echo Ilchi Lee's thoughts on personal growth. While it is important for individuals to work to improve themselves, they must never forget that they are part of a larger whole and that any self-improvement should be sought while keeping the good of the wider community in mind.

This may result not only in better outcomes for the individual, but also stronger communities and a more peaceful world. For these reasons it is important when seeking personal growth to treat others kindly and with respect.

Daily challenges can encourage personal growth

As a parent, it can often be difficult to balance the challenges of a full-time career and family responsibilities. At times, the stress of this may push moms and dads to what seems like their breaking points. However, it is important to remember in times like these that challenges of yield rewards, such as personal growth.

Colleen Neutra, a self-employed graphic designer and mother, recently recounted her struggles with striking a good family-work balance in the Needham Patch. She wrote that it can be difficult when her daughter is home to get much work done. This adds a lot of stress to her days.

However, it can at times also help her rediscover things about her daughter and herself that may have gone unnoticed in the day-to-day business of life. She wrote that this is an important part of her quest for personal growth.

Ilchi Lee agrees that a search for personal development is rarely easy. It can involve plenty of challenges. However, these experiences are not meant to detract from joys of life. Rather, they make the reward that much sweeter.
